Who we are
A credit bureau built by credit professionals
Credifax was founded by Rodger D. Noel after a long career in senior roles with national and international credit and collection companies. His vision was simple: give local suppliers the same quality of credit information as the big national players, backed by people who pick up the phone.
In 2001 we put our industry credit groups online with Credinet™, letting members share trade experience in real time. Since then we’ve partnered with respected credit firms in Ontario and Western Canada so our customers can get reports from coast to coast in one place.
Today Credifax is led by the next generation of credit professionals, and in 2026 we launched a completely rebuilt Credinet platform. What hasn’t changed is how we work: a Canadian company, close to our customers, and serious about getting it right.

Amanda L. Anderson

In more than 20 years at Credifax, Amanda has built her own reputation as a seasoned credit professional, with hands-on experience across every part of our business and operations. She earned her CCP designation in 2008, served as President of the Atlantic Chapter of the Credit Institute from 2016 to 2018, and was appointed Vice-President of Credifax in 2015 before becoming President.

Chris brings a background in business, education and customer service to his role. He works closely with clients across Canada, helping them strengthen their credit and collection practices and get greater value from Credinet™. Chris is focused on expanding Credifax’s reach while maintaining the knowledgeable, personal service its clients have come to expect.

Rodger D. Noel
B. Comm., CCP (Emeritus)
A former Vice-President of Creditel of Canada Limited and Equifax Canada Inc., Rodger served as Chairman, President and Dean of the Credit Institute of Canada in 2008. He has served on boards and legislative review committees including the Newfoundland Law Reform Commission and Small Claims Court Reform (NS), and received the CCP (Emeritus) designation in 2012 for his contribution to credit education in Canada.
